I specialize in Carnatic Music, Folk, and Light Music, with a wealth of professional and educational achievements to share.

Professional Achievements

I've had the privilege of performing for Sahasra Deepalankara (Unjal Seva) & Naadaniranjanam at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. I've also conducted workshops and training sessions, including one on Suladis of Haridasas by Prof. T Sharadha in 2014.

Teaching Experience

I've served as a music educator at SAPA Academy from 2019 to 2021 and worked as a trainer at Artium Academy and Bmusician in 2023. Additionally, I've conducted workshops on Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar Kritis & Haridasara Padas in 2022 and have been providing Carnatic Music tuition classes, including musical therapy for differently-abled children, both in-person and via Skype since 2001.

Education

I hold a Masters in Carnatic Music from Jain University, Bangalore, achieved in 2018. Furthermore, I've pursued courses in music therapy for the development of special children and active/passive music therapy to cure depression.

Private Study

I've engaged in private study under the guidance of esteemed mentors, such as Vidushi Dhanyashri Kanchana, Dr. Meera Rajaram Pranesh, Vidushi Shashikala, and Vidushi Vijaya Subramanyam, to enhance my proficiency in Carnatic Vocal.

Awards

In 2006, I received the Gold Medal for securing the first rank in B.A. Music from Bangalore University.

Performances

My extensive experience as a South Indian Carnatic music performer includes numerous concerts at major festivals and venues in Bangalore and beyond. Notable performances include Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Mantralayam, Sri Purandara Ashrama, Sri Kalyana Varaprada Srinivasa Swamy Temple in Magadi, and more.

CD/DVD Recordings

I've contributed to various CD/DVD recordings, including a documentary on Dashamahavidya, Kannada Suladis of Haridasas, and Bhakthi Yaana CD series.
