I am a versatile and passionate music educator, driven by a commitment to provide a comprehensive and enriching musical education for students. With a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calicut, Kerala, India, and additional qualifications, including a Diploma in Office Administration and PGDCA, I bring a well-rounded educational background to my teaching endeavors.
My musical journey includes obtaining a B.Music in Karnatic Flute from Madras University through distance education. I am also a certified Musical Instruments Technician, specializing in Piano Regulation and Tuning, accredited by Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS), Ministry of Labour, Government of India. Further, I hold graded certifications from Trinity College, London, in a variety of instruments, showcasing my proficiency and dedication to musical excellence.
In my career, I've handled a broad spectrum of musical subjects, spanning classical and brass band instruments such as piano, electronic keyboard, violin, classic guitar, plectrum guitar, bass guitar, drum kit, vocal (soprano, alto, tenor), saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French horn, and bass. I've also delved into rock and pop genres, teaching vocal, electronic keyboard, bass guitar, electric guitar, and drums.
I take pride in my ability to tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning experience. I specialize in teaching music theory, covering grades 1 through 8, and I am equally competent in both Hindustani and Karnatic music, excelling in both vocal and instrumental domains.
