Tutor Bio


Kevin was born in Caracas, Venezuela, Kevin's drumming journey was initiated by renowned Venezuelan drummer Miguel Hernandez, under whose tutelage he was trained for several years. Subsequently, studies at the Caracas Jazz Workshop were undertaken for a year, encompassing a comprehensive exploration of jazz. During the years 2007-2010, Guerrero became deeply immersed in Venezuela's music scene with the band Psinocencia, gaining recognition and leading to opportunities like a tour in Colombia, where they opened for bands such as Haste the Day.


Further accolades came when the band performed as an opening act for the international sensation Korn at the mega festival Solid Fest in Venezuela, attended by over 7 thousand spectators. Following this successful stint, Guerrero embarked on a new path, enrolling at Berklee College of Music to pursue Performance and Contemporary Writing and Production.


Throughout his professional growth, he collaborated with various musicians and even had the privilege of playing alongside the renowned artist Naika from Haiti. Subsequent to his Berklee experience, Guerrero performed for numerous companies at weddings and private events. Notably, he had the opportunity to join a tribute to the Cumbia Techno diva Selena Quintanilla, performing for the acclaimed artist Amanda Mena, who was an award winner on The Voice.


Currently residing in Boston, Massachusetts, Guerrero continues to share his passion by teaching drum classes and performing at private events, among other endeavors.
