Tutor Bio

Hi! My name is Kate and I've been teaching for over 5 years, both online and in person. I thoroughly enjoy helping others find the joy of music by improving their skills. My main instrument is voice, and no matter what kind of music you want to sing, I pride myself in teaching you a healthy singing technique.

My goal is to give you the tools needed to explore your vocal style and ability. If you are looking to learn piano or flute, our focus will be to take our time thoroughly learning all aspects of the instrument, technique, and music theory, all while having fun and being creative.

I come from a musical background, being involved in choir, band, and musicals since I was a kid. Since then, I've received a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance and a Master's of Music in Vocal Performance as well, with an emphasis in opera. I am excited at the possibility of teaching new students who are just as excited about music as I am.
