Tutor Bio

Passionate about the transformative power of music, I bring a diverse and rich background in both education and performance. Holding a Master's from Mannes School of Music and a Bachelor's from Oberlin Conservatory, where I specialized in Viola Performance, my journey has been marked by a dedication to nurturing musical talents.

In the realm of education, I've served as a Music Teacher at institutions such as Harmonic Music Studio and City Strings & Piano, working with students ranging from 3 to 75 years old. This experience has not only honed my teaching skills but has also instilled in me a profound appreciation for collaborative learning and effective communication.

On the performance front, I've had the privilege of contributing to renowned ensembles like the Denver Philharmonic and achieving recognition, such as securing 2nd place in the Charleston Winter Music Competition with The Village Trio. These experiences have not only shaped my artistic prowess but have also fueled my commitment to sharing the joy of music with others.

Beyond the stage and classroom, I've actively participated in administrative and service roles. Whether serving as a librarian for the Westside Chamber Players or volunteering with organizations like Katy Citizens for Animal Protection, I believe in the power of music to bridge communities and inspire positive change.

Eager to explore the limitless possibilities that music offers, I invite students of all ages and backgrounds to join me on a journey of creative expression, collaborative learning, and mutual inspiration. Let's make music together!
